Be the difference in a young person’s life — every single day.
At our small, dedicated solo children’s home, you won’t just be part of a team — you’ll play a central role in transforming the life of one young person.
This is a unique opportunity to provide truly individualised, relationship-based care, where your time, consistency, and compassion create real, lasting change.
If you're passionate about building trust, supporting emotional growth, and helping young people overcome challenges to achieve their full potential — this could be the role for you.
We are looking for Residential Childcare Worker as part of a team providing 24-hour care within Children’s Residential Services. You will be working in a Children’s Home caring for young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs.
Full time position, hours of work include day shifts (including sleep in duties), weekend working, UK bank holidays as part of a flexible working rota and on occasion waking night shifts.
Job Description and Person Specification attached for more detail.
What is important is that you have a passion for working with young people and supporting young people to reach their potential.
Whilst qualification to NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People is an advantage, we accept and encourage applications from candidates who do not hold this qualification.
We will support you to complete the qualification on starting in the role. The qualification will equip you with knowledge and skills to help you succeed in this role and must be completed within 2 years.
