Tax Senior - Advisory & Compliance Growing Independent Firm

Our client is a highly reputable Cambridgeshire firm located in the heart of the county who are experiencing an increase of growth due to changes in the market, and due to this success are recruiting a Tax Senior.

This is a great opportunity to draw on your skills in both corporation and private client tax, in an advisory and compliance capacity. If you have experience in one more than the other, training will be provided to those who show enthusiasm. Managing your own selection of clients, tasks would include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare, review and submit personal and corporate tax returns.
• Preparing and drafting R&D tax claims
• Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.
• Supporting a range of tax planning projects such as CGT, IHT, disclosures and more, alongside the Tax Manager and Partners.
• Use initiative to react and resolve client tax queries with support from senior members of the team.
• Providing tax advisory support to junior colleagues as and when required.
• Maintaining and developing your technical knowledge through ongoing professional development and training.

As a dedicated tax professional you will maintain the firm's strong reputation in the market through being seen as an excellent service provider, maintain your technical knowledge and CPD, build strong internal and external relationships and show a desire to progress.

Our client is forward-thinking in that they are open to qualifications, ATT, CTA, AAT, ACCA or ACA; appropriate tax experience is more important. You will have a commercial mindset, a naturally strong attention to detail,
