Job purpose:

To lead and support the effective management, governance and continuous improvement of Facilities and Accommodation contracts and supplier relationships across the organisation. The post holder will play a key role in ensuring services are delivered efficiently, provide value for money, meet business requirements and comply with relevant governance and regulatory standards.

To contribute to the provision of a modern, professional and responsive Facilities and Accommodation service to support NIHE business delivery and our vision and values.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. Either

• A) Possess a Level 6* qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline (such as business management, procurement, commercial management, facilities management, property management, governance, project management or a related field) and can demonstrate at least two years’ relevant experience managing contracts, supplier relationships, and procurement activities.

or

• B) Exceptionally, can demonstrate 5 years’ relevant experience in managing contracts, supplier relationships, and procurement activities and can demonstrate continued professional development including the attainment of relevant qualifications. (Please include dates)

It will be the responsibility of the applicant to demonstrate equivalency

2. Can demonstrate significant relevant experience in the

• management and monitoring of contracts to ensure value for money is achieved.
• 3. Possess a current driving licence or have access to a form of transport that will permit the candidate to meet the requirements of the post in full.

Desirable Criteria

• Can demonstrate relevant experience in the management and monitoring of contracts related to facilities & accommodation / commercial property.
