Assistant Headteacher - Inclusion and SENCO

KeyResponsibilities:

• Strategic leadershipof Inclusion across the school
• Leading provision forpupils with SEND, disadvantaged pupils and vulnerable groups
• Monitoring progress,provision and outcomes for vulnerable pupils and those with additionalneeds
• Working collaborativelywith families, external agencies and professionals
• Leading staffdevelopment to strengthen inclusive teaching, adaptive practice andimpactful interventions
• Contributing to other whole-schoolimprovement priorities as part of the Senior Leadership Team

We arelooking for someone who:

• Has a clear passionfor Inclusion and high standards across the Primary phase
• Has a minimum of 5years successful Primary teaching experience ideally across morethan one Key Stage.
• Is an excellentclassroom practitioner with strong strategic leadership skills
• Hasthe NPQ SENCO award (or equivalent) or is willing to train and obtainthis.
• Has strongcommunication and partnership skills with parents and external agencies
• Has personality, caninspire, support and challenge staff to improve outcomes for all pupils
