Telehandler

We’re looking for an experienced Telehandler Operator in Peterborough. This role is ideal for someone with valid NPORS certifications looking for a temporary contract.

Salary

• SalaryPAYE basic Rate £16.85 + £2.37 holiday pay = total payable £19.22 per hour
• Umbrella basic Rate: £22.68 per hour
• PAYE overtime rate x1.4: £23.59 + £3.31 holiday pay = total payable £26.90 per hour
• Umbrella overtime rate x1.4: £31.74 (Umbrella) per hour
• PAYE overtime rate x1.8: £30.33 + £4.26 holiday pay = total payable £34.59 per hour
• Umbrella overtime x1.8: £40.82 per hour

Location and Working Pattern

• Peterborough, PE6
• Duration: 2–3 months
• Working hours: Monday–Thursday (10-hour day), Friday (7‑hour day)

Client Overview

Our client operates within the utilities and infrastructure sector, delivering ongoing works within Etton Water Treatment Works to support local water processing and site operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate the telehandler safely and efficiently on site
• Carry out material movements and loading activities as directed
• Conduct daily safety inspections and basic maintenance checks
• Work collaboratively with the site team to maintain productivity
• Ensure all operations comply with site health and safety regulations

Must‑have Requirements

• NPORS N010 and NPORS N138 certification
• Previous experience operating a telehandler
• Ability to follow site safety procedures and reporting protocols
