Business Operations Coordinator | Manston, Kent | 25-30 Hours | £35,000-£40,000 FTE (Pro Rata) Be the trusted right-hand to a business founder in a growing Kent-based company. Varied role covering executive support, HR administration, recruitment, process improvement and business coordination.

The Opportunity Our client is a successful and growing manufacturing and ecommerce business seeking an experienced Business Operations Coordinator to become the central hub of the organisation. This is far more than a traditional PA position. Acting as the founder's trusted support, you will help drive efficiency across the business, coordinate priorities, manage key administrative functions, and ensure day-to-day operations continue to run smoothly as the company grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for internal and external enquiries.
• Manage the founder's diary, inbox and priorities.
• Coordinate recruitment activities and interview scheduling.
• Oversee HR administration, including onboarding, contracts and absence records.
• Organise meetings, travel arrangements and business events.
• Track actions, deadlines and business priorities.
• Maintain company records, contracts and important documentation.
• Support compliance, audit and health & safety administration.
• Develop and document processes to improve efficiency.
• Prepare meeting briefings, notes and follow-up actions.
• Manage supplier renewals, subscriptions and general business correspondence.

About You

• Essential Minimum three years' experience supporting a director, founder or senior leader.
• Strong HR administration experience.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise effectively and make sound decisions.
• Confident dealing with colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace.
• Proactive, resilient and highly organised.

Desirable Experience

• Experience within manufacturing, ecommerce or product-based businesses.
• Process improvement and documentation experience.
• Knowledge of ISO standards, compliance or health & safety administration.
• Experience using project management platforms such as Monday.com.
• CIPD qualification or HR training.
