Office Services Assistant - (Global Law Firm)

Office Services Assistant (Global Law Firm) London | Full-Time

Looking for your first opportunity after school? Want to start your career in a professional, fast-paced law firm environment? This is a fantastic opportunity for a school leaver or someone at the very beginning of their career who wants to gain valuable experience within a professional services environment. Previous law firm experience isn't essential. The firm is looking for someone with the right attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine desire to do a great job.

What will you be doing?

• Handling incoming and outgoing post, deliveries and couriers.
• Helping prepare, print, bind and scan important documents.
• Supporting the firm's meeting and conference rooms.
• Keeping printers, paper and office supplies stocked.
• Responding to requests from colleagues across the firm.
• Helping resolve basic printer and copier issues.
• Supporting document archiving, recycling and confidential shredding.
• Getting involved with other projects and requests across the office.

Who are we looking for?

You don't need years of experience. We're much more interested in finding someone who is:

• Reliable and hard-working
• Friendly and confident communicating with people
• Organised with good attention to detail
• Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office
• Happy to learn new systems and skills
• A team player who can also use their own initiative
• Flexible and willing to help wherever needed

You will need a minimum of GCSEs or equivalent. Previous experience in a mailroom, reprographics or archiving environment would be useful, but is listed as desirable rather than essential.

Why apply?

If you're finishing school and aren't sure that university is the right route for you, this is an opportunity to start building your career straight away. You'll gain hands‑on experience of working within a professional law firm, develop valuable office and administrative skills, and work alongside people across different areas and levels of the business. This could be the perfect first step for someone ambitious, professional and keen to get their foot in the door of the legal sector.
