HR Assistant

Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client with regards this permanent position.

We re looking for an HR Assistant to join our client and provide hands-on support across a broad range of HR activities.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm

This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised, people-focused individual who enjoys working in a busy environment and is looking to develop their HR career within a supportive team.

What will you be doing?

You ll play an important role in keeping the HR function running smoothly, supporting the full employee lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:

• Being able to liaise with the HR advisors and follow the recommendations given.
• Recruitment process from advertising, interview administration, references, induction and exit process.
• Authorise, record, and provide statistics on holidays, attendance, and payroll.
• Note taking for meetings.
• Conduct investigations and meetings. Liaising with line managers when reviews are due.
• Administer absence records and investigations.
• Dealing with day-to-day HR issues from all areas of the business.
• Helping to set up and implement training programs.
• Administration of the employee and health and safety management system and surrounding records

Who are we looking for?

We re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and approachable, with excellent attention to detail and a genuine interest in HR.

You ll ideally be / have:

• Structured and organised
• Confidentiality and GDPR compliant
• Effective communication skills with all levels of the company
• Managing and measuring work
• Problem solving
• Integrity
• Previous HR or relevant administration experience
• CIPD qualification or working towards one
• Be aware of the companies policies and health and safety procedures and practices
