We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Vehicle Technician in Preston. The Vehicle Technician role presents a valuable opportunity for experienced automotive professionals seeking a stable, full-time position within a well-equipped workshop environment. Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

Conducting vehicle servicing, oil changes, suspension repairs, exhaust replacements, and brake work
Performing engine repairs, turbo diagnostics, timing belt replacements, clutch work, and gearbox repairs
Completing accurate job cards and workshop documentation
Supporting MOT testing, subject to qualification, or assisting with MOT preparation
Managing a personal workload independently while contributing to team goals
Ensuring high standards of quality and safety across all mechanical repairs

Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:

Proven experience as a vehicle technician, with a solid understanding of mechanical repairs and diagnostics
Level 3 qualification is preferred; however, individualswith strong time-served garage experience and Level 2 or no formal qualification will also be considered
Full UK driving licence is essential
Own tools are preferred; workshop tools are available
Reliable, practical, and capable of working independently or as part of a team
Motivated to develop and grow within the automotive industry
