AsanInspectionFinishingOperator,yourdutiesincludeensuringthattherollsofpaperarewoundtospecifiedlengthsontherequiredcore.Paperfromthemasterroll,willbefedintoarewindmachinethatwillmeasureoffthelengthsrequiredforthefinishedroll.Thefinishedreelswillthenberemovedfromtherewinmachineandlabelledwiththerelevantcoreandreelendinformation.Yourjobalsoincludesmaintenanceandcalibrationofyourequipment.
RolesandResponsibilities
- Loadingofspecifiedmasterreelsaccordingtojobbagandreelidentificationlabels
- Printingofinnerandoutercoreandanyothercustomerrequiredtraceabilitylabelrequirements
- Selectionandfixingofcorrectmandrelaccordingtocustomerspecification
- Sourcingofcorrectcoresizeaccordingtocustomerspecification
- Settingofbladestoslitreelstotherelevantwidth,ensuringhealthandsafetyproceduresarefollowed
- UseofAVTinspectiontoensureremovalofanysubstandardqualityprintwithinthemasterreels
- Maintainingthequalityoftheslittingofthefinishedreelsthroughouttherun
- EnsuringallreelsarefullylabelledaccordingtobothCompanyandcustomerrequirements
- Ensuringthelineclearanceprocedureisthoroughlyfollowedaftereachjobandlineclearancejoinretainedeachtime
RequiredSkills&Experience:
- Excellentverbalcommunication,interpersonal,andcustomerserviceskills
- Abilitytooperateortoquicklylearntooperatevariousprintingmachinesandrelatedsoftware
