Academics in Wokingham is seeking a Youth Worker to support KS2, KS3 and KS4 students within an alternative provision. You will help improve social skills, emotional wellbeing and mental health for young people aged 8 to 16 who experience anxiety, trauma or learning difficulties.
The position involves building relationships with students, using de-escalation techniques, positive reinforcement and restorative practice, with a focus on empowering young people to make positive life choices.
