Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual looking to make a meaningful difference in people's lives? We are seeking a Community Care Assistant to provide essential care and support for elderly and disabled individuals in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Community Care Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Personal Care : Assisting service users with dressing, undressing, bathing, and toileting in a respectful and dignified manner.
• Household Tasks : Making and changing beds, light cleaning, and helping with the general upkeep of their homes.
• Meal Preparation : Preparing light meals and assisting service users at mealtimes if required.
• Medication Administration : Administering medication and maintaining accurate records.
• Emotional Support : Building positive relationships with service users, offering emotional support, companionship, and helping them maintain independence in their daily lives.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills : in English (both written and spoken).
• Caring and compassionate nature : Genuine passion for helping others.
• Driving Licence : Must be a confident driver, holding a valid driver's licence and willing to travel between service users’ homes.

What We Offer:

• Gross Pay : £11.44 per hour.
• Full-time hours : minimum 37.5 hours per week.
• Paid Holidays : 28 days of paid leave (pro rata).
• Training and Development : Ongoing professional development and the chance to earn additional qualifications.
• Accommodation : Optional accommodation (charges apply).
