Primary Supply Teachers: Worthing Day-to-day supply | Part-time and full-time availability | KS1 & KS2

We're recruiting primary supply teachers to cover ad-hoc days across our partner schools in Worthing. We work directly with local schools, which means consistent demand, familiar settings and a real say in where and when you work.

The role

You’ll be covering day-to-day supply across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Some days are booked in advance, others come in the night before or first thing in the morning. You choose the days you make yourself available, whether that’s one day a week or five.

Who we're looking for

QTS, QTLS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Confident teaching across both KS1 and KS2, and happy to pick up a class at short notice
Good behaviour management and the ability to follow a planned lesson or adapt on the spot
An enhanced child workforce DBS (ideally on the Update Service) or willingness to apply for one
Two professional references covering your recent work with children

Early Career Teachers and returners are welcome to apply.

Supply is a good way back into the classroom.

What we offer

Competitive daily rates, paid weekly (insert rate range)
Genuine flexibility: work the days that suit you, decline the ones that don't
A named consultant who knows the schools and won't send you somewhere blind
Free safeguarding and CPD support
A route into longer-term and permanent roles if you want one

Teach South Sussex is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All appointments are subject to enhanced DBS clearance and satisfactory references.
