DESCRIPTION;

An independent London-based creative studio is looking for a Designer to join their team, working across a range of visually-led projects that bring ideas, information and stories to life.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Designer who enjoys turning complex or content-led subjects into clear, engaging and beautifully considered visual work. You’ll work across a mix of digital and print projects, from editorial and reports through to interactive experiences, motion and other creative formats.

The right person will have a strong eye for typography, layout and visual detail, with an interest in how design can make information more accessible and engaging. You’ll be comfortable taking ideas from initial research and concepts through to final delivery, working collaboratively with creative and technical teams along the way.

RESPONSIBILITIES;

• Create thoughtful visual design across a range of client projects and formats.
• Develop initial ideas through research, moodboards, working drawings and layouts.
• Data visualisation
• Contribute to the development and refinement of creative concepts.
• Work across a mix of digital, print, interactive, motion and experiential projects.
• Collaborate with creative, technical and external partners to bring ideas to life.
• Ensure work is considered from an accessibility perspective, including typography, colour and digital experiences.
• Support internal studio projects including templates, social content and case studies.
• Manage your workload effectively and ensure projects are delivered to agreed deadlines.
• Present and articulate design ideas and creative rationale clearly.
• Keep up to date with new approaches, techniques and developments within the wider design landscape.

EXPERIENCE;

• Experienced Designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating information-led, editorial and/or visual design.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, colour and visual hierarchy.
• Experience working across digital and/or printed reports, editorial content, digital products, animation or interactive experiences.
• Experience with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• A strong eye for detail and a thoughtful approach to design.
• An understanding of accessibility within design and digital experiences.
• Able to explain design decisions and creative thinking clearly.
• Organised and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Patient, flexible and collaborative, with strong communication skills.
