Marketing Manager at The Eastside Rooms and Aloft by Marriott Birmingham Eastside

Are you a commercially minded marketing professional with a passion for driving growth, building brands, and delivering measurable results?

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead the marketing strategy for Aloft by Marriott Birmingham Eastside and The Eastside Rooms. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the marketing direction of two distinctive brands, driving awareness, engagement and revenue across our hotel, conference, events and food & beverage operations.

Reporting to the Director of Revenue, you will take ownership of the annual marketing strategy and budget, delivering integrated campaigns that support commercial objectives, strengthen brand positioning and enhance the customer experience.

About the Role

As Marketing Manager, you will work closely with commercial, operational and corporate teams to ensure marketing activity supports wider business objectives. You will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, manage external agency relationships, and use data-driven insights to drive brand awareness, customer engagement and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the annual marketing strategy for Aloft Birmingham Eastside and The Eastside Rooms.
• Create and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, PR, content and offline channels.
• Manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring strong return on investment and alignment with business priorities.
• Work with external agencies and partners to deliver effective digital marketing, PR and brand campaigns.
• Drive awareness and demand across hotel, meetings, events, corporate and food & beverage segments.
• Oversee website content, digital performance and online marketing initiatives to maximise visibility and conversion.
• Ensure brand consistency and compliance with Marriott brand standards across all marketing activity.
• Analyse campaign performance and market trends, using insights to optimise future activity and support commercial decision-making.
• Identify new opportunities, partnerships and promotional initiatives that support business growth.

What we are looking for

Essential

Experience in a marketing management role, ideally within hospitality, events or a customer-focused environment.

Proven success in developing and delivering marketing strategies and campaigns.

Strong digital marketing knowledge, including social media, email marketing, content marketing and paid media.

Experience managing agencies and external suppliers.

Excellent communication, project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Strong commercial awareness and the ability to measure marketing effectiveness through data and insights.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable

Hospitality, hotel, venue or events industry experience.

Marketing qualification (CIM, degree or equivalent).

Experience working with recognised brands or within a branded hotel environment
