We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic and highly skilled individual with expert knowledge of open access and scholarly publishing to join our Open Research team in Libraries & Museums at University of St Andrews. The purpose of this role is to focus on advocacy and outreach for Open Access (OA), and to manage staff and services which support the University’s open research culture. You will take responsibility for our journal hosting platform (Open Journal Systems) and our research information system (Pure) workflows for research outputs.
This is an exciting time to join Libraries & Museums as we promote our open research culture which values sustainable and equitable open access. You will share our commitment to making our research outputs as widely available as possible and continue to embed our institutional OA Policy based on rights retention.
We are looking for a natural leader who will take initiative to further develop our OA services. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to solve problems with an evidence-based approach.
