Treasury Manager

Sellick Partnership is supporting a not for profit organisation in Bradford with the recruitment of an experienced Treasury Manager.This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished treasury or senior finance professional to take on a key role within a public sector environment. The successful candidate will provide specialist treasury expertise, supporting the effective management of the organisation's cash, borrowing and investments while ensuring robust financial governance and control.The role;As Treasury Manager, you will play an important part in supporting the organisation's wider financial strategy.Responsibilities are expected to include:Leading the day-to-day delivery of the organisation's treasury management functionManaging cash flow, borrowing and investment activitySupporting the development and implementation of the Treasury Management StrategyMonitoring the organisation's borrowing and investment portfolioEnsuring treasury activities operate within appropriate governance, regulatory and policy frameworksProducing high-quality treasury information, reports and analysis for senior stakeholdersMonitoring financial markets, interest rates and economic developments to identify potential risks and opportunitiesSupporting effective cash management and liquidity planningProviding specialist advice to senior finance colleagues and wider stakeholdersMaintaining strong financial controls, processes and reporting arrangementsContributing to wider financial planning and strategic finance activityBuilding effective relationships with internal stakeholders and relevant external advisers and financial institutionsThe ideal candidate;We are looking for an experienced finance professional who can demonstrate:Strong knowledge of treasury management, ideally gained within a not for profit organisationExperience of cash flow, investments, borrowing and treasury riskA strong understanding of financial governance and controlThe ability to analyse complex financial information and communicate it clearlyStrong stakeholder management and influencing skillsThe ability to operate confidently at a senior levelExcellent attention to detail alongside a broader strategic perspectiveA relevant professional finance or treasury qualification would be advantageousPrevious public sector treasury experience would be particularly beneficial.What's on offer?Salary: £56,682 – £60,593Senior Treasury Manager opportunityHybridOpportunity to take ownership of a key specialist finance functionA role combining technical treasury expertise with strategic financial inputInterested?If you are an experienced Treasury Manager or senior finance professional looking to develop your career within local government, we'd be keen to hear from you.Sellick Partnership is proud to be an inclusive and accessible recruitment business and we support applications from candidates of all backgrounds and circumstances.
