Haywards Heath - Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm - Up to £30,000 per annum

The Role

We are recruiting for an organised and detail-focused Import / Export Administrator to join a busy and growing business based in Haywards Heath. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with administration, logistics, supply chain or international shipping experience looking to develop their career within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process import and export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists and shipping paperwork
• Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders, couriers and external logistics providers
• Monitor delivery schedules and provide updates to customers and internal stakeholders
• Ensure customs and shipping documentation is accurate and compliant
• Maintain and update records on ERP and internal systems
• Liaise with suppliers and overseas customers regarding orders and shipment status
• Resolve delivery, documentation and customs-related queries
• Support the wider operations and logistics team with administrative tasks and reporting

About You

• Previous administration experience within import/export, logistics, shipping, supply chain or customer operations
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling documentation
• Confident communicator, both written and verbal
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
• Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workloads effectively
• Experience using ERP, stock management or logistics systems would be advantageous
• Knowledge of import/export procedures, customs documentation or international shipping regulations would be beneficial but not essential
