Graduate Teacher of Mathematics
Eton
Eton College has an exciting opportunity for six Graduate Teachers to join the College on a two- year fixed term contract starting in September 2027.
London | September 2026 | £30,000-£35,000 | Full-Time | Salaried Teacher Training
Graduating in Maths or Science and ready to turn your subject knowledge into a career?
Want to train as a teacher while earning £30,000-£35,000 rather than returning to full-time university?
Could you see yourself leading a classroom and inspiring the next generation of mathematicians and scientists?
KPI Education is recruiting exceptional Maths and Science graduates for a salaried Graduate Trainee Teacher programme across a leading network of secondary schools in London.
Starting in September 2026, you'll combine structured teacher training with genuine classroom experience, expert mentoring and a full-time salary while working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
This is not a year of simply observing other teachers.
You'll be trained to become one.
Train. Earn. Qualify.
From the beginning of the programme, you'll become part of your school's teaching team.
Initially, you'll learn from experienced practitioners, observe excellent teaching and develop your understanding of lesson planning, behaviour management and assessment.
As your skills and confidence grow, you'll gradually take greater responsibility for delivering lessons and managing your own classes.
Throughout the programme, you'll receive structured coaching and regular professional development designed to turn strong subject knowledge into excellent classroom practice.
We're particularly interested in graduates from:
Mathematics | Physics | Chemistry | Biology | Engineering | Natural Sciences | Biochemistry | Biomedical Sciences | and related STEM disciplines
A 2:1 or First-Class degree is highly desirable, alongside a strong academic background and excellent subject knowledge.
You don't need to arrive as a finished teacher.
You do need the communication skills, resilience, enthusiasm and ambition required to become one.
You'll be expected to engage young people, explain challenging concepts clearly and demonstrate a genuine commitment to helping pupils achieve academically.
For graduates who already know teaching is the direction they want to take, this programme offers the opportunity to begin developing your career immediately.
Rather than completing your training away from the realities of school life, you'll learn inside the classroom, surrounded by experienced teachers who can coach and support your development.
By the end of the programme, the aim is for you to have developed the knowledge, confidence and practical experience required to progress as a qualified Maths or Science teacher.
Whether you're graduating this year or already have your degree, this could be your opportunity to turn your STEM expertise into a rewarding professional car
