Welfare Labourer

LOCATION: Chertsey, Surrey

START: Mid to late October 2026

DURATION: Long-term, until 2029

PAY: £16.94 per hour

HOURS: 9 hours paid per day

Duties

• Cleaning and maintaining site welfare facilities
• Cleaning toilets, canteens, drying rooms and communal areas
• Emptying bins and general housekeeping
• Keeping welfare facilities clean, tidy and presentable
• Replenishing welfare supplies when required
• General site cleaning
• Carrying out general labouring duties as required
• Moving materials and assisting site operatives
• Following site health and safety procedures
• Other general duties as required by the site team

Requirements

• Valid CSCS card required
• Full PPE required
• Previous construction site experience
• Welfare or labouring experience preferred
• References required
• Reliable and punctual
• Good work ethic
• Able to carry out cleaning and general labouring duties
• Able to work well as part of a team
