As a yard hand with Pomerleau's construction logistics team, you'll be working with a logistics team at the Ville St-Catherine courtyard St-Catherine (South Shore of Montreal) to support large-scale building and infrastructure projects - from $1.5 million to over $1 billion. You will have the opportunity to work outdoors with several team members on a variety of tasks to service the construction sites.

What you will do

• Handle, move, load, and unload products, materials, tools, equipment, and machinery manually or using various handling devices
• Count, weigh, sort, inspect, pack, and unpack various products and materials
• Open boxes, fill orders, and participate in inventory taking
• Store items in an orderly manner to ensure easy access
• Clear snow from the yard, walkways, stairs, etc., during the winter season
• Maintain and repair certain tools and equipment

This role could be for you if you have

• A high school diploma (DES) and/or a vocational diploma (DEP) in a related field
• A valid driver’s license
• Between 1 to 3 years of experience as a material handler
• Good physical capabilities
• A strong sense of priorities
• Teamwork skills
• The ability to operate a forklift and an aerial work platform
