Medicare People is recruiting experienced self-employed Live-in Carers in Buckland to support individuals who require ongoing care within the comfort of their own homes. Through our introductory care model, we connect carers directly with families looking for dedicated long-term support.

As a self-employed Live-in Carer in Buckland, you'll provide tailored assistance that enables clients to live safely and independently. This may include personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication support, mobility assistance, and helping with everyday household tasks.

This rewarding role allows you to build trusted relationships while delivering truly personalised care. You'll support clients to maintain familiar routines and enjoy greater independence while receiving the one-to-one care they deserve.

We introduce self-employed carers to families throughout Buckland and the surrounding areas, helping create successful long-term care arrangements.

We are currently recruiting self-employed Live-in Carers for our introductory care service.

What you'll do

• Deliver personalised care and support at home
• Assist with washing, dressing and personal care routines
• Provide companionship and reduce feelings of loneliness
• Help clients move around safely
• Prepare meals and encourage regular hydration
• Administer medication according to care plans
• Support household tasks and laundry
• Help with shopping and collecting prescriptions
• Observe and report changes in health or wellbeing
• Maintain detailed and accurate care records
• Work alongside families and other professionals
• Promote dignity, wellbeing and independence

What you’ll bring

• Minimum 6 months of professional UK care experience
• A caring, kind and compassionate nature
• Good communication and people skills
• Confidence working independently within a client's home
• Experience supporting individuals with a range of care needs
• A reliable and professional approach
• Flexibility to travel for placements
• A commitment to delivering high-quality person-centred care
• Right to work in the UK
• Experience administering medication is desirable
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care is desirable but not essential
