New Leaf Search is partnering with a specialist UK technology finance organisation in its search for a Channel Business Development Manager, IT Finance.

This is a new business focused sales role, responsible for identifying, developing and onboarding IT resellers, distributors and manufacturer partners that can benefit from residual value based funding and Asset Management solutions.

You will be expected to take a proactive, hunter-led approach to developing the channel, building a strong pipeline of new partner opportunities while also increasing penetration within existing relationships. Client Job Description

Key Accountabilities

• Identify, prospect and establish new IT reseller, distributor and manufacturer partnerships.
• Develop a robust pipeline of new channel finance opportunities.
• Increase penetration within existing partner relationships to generate scalable new business.
• Identify opportunities across refurbished and second life technology solutions.
• Engage with partner decision makers and arrange high-quality commercial meetings.
• Develop presentations and proposals tailored to partner requirements and objectives.
• Participate in pricing leasing solutions and additional value-added services.
• Manage objections and negotiate effectively to convert opportunities into business.
• Manage the new business sales process from initial prospecting through to partner onboarding.
• Maintain accurate prospect, sales activity and pipeline information.

Person Specification

• Strong new business development experience within Asset Finance, Leasing or a related financial services environment.
• IT channel finance experience would be highly advantageous but is not essential. Job Brief Template
• Experience developing relationships with resellers, distributors, manufacturers or other channel partners.
• A demonstrable hunter mentality with the ability to prospect, penetrate and onboard new relationships.
• Confident managing the complete sales process from initial approach through to close.
• Good knowledge and interest in technology products and solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial and commercially driven.
• Energetic, enthusiastic and persistent, with a strong work ethic and desire to succeed. Client Job Description
