We are currently looking for dedicated and resilient Behaviour Intervention Workers / Behaviour Support Assistants to work within a specialist educational setting in Billinge, Wigan.
The role:
Supporting pupils who present with challenging or complex behaviours
Delivering positive and consistent behaviour interventions
Helping pupils regulate their emotions and develop coping strategies
Building strong, trusting relationships with young people
Supporting pupils to engage positively with learning
Working closely with teachers, SEN staff and pastoral teams
Helping create a calm, safe and structured environment
We're looking for someone who:
Has experience working with children or young people
Has experience in behaviour support, SEMH, SEN, youth work, care or similar
Is calm, patient and resilient
Can set clear boundaries while building positive relationships
Understands the importance of consistency and positive reinforcement
