Experienced General Practice Nurse
London
The Experienced General Practice Nurse (GPN) will play a pivotal role in delivering safe, evidence-based, and patient-centred care across K&W…
Burlington Primary Care is seeking an experienced, motivated, and compassionate lead practice nurse to join our friendly and forward-thinking practice team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care while providing clinical leadership and support to our nursing team. Experience in primary care nursing and long term condition care is essential.
As lead practice nurse, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and developing nursing services within the practice. You will combine hands on clinical work with leadership responsibilities, ensuring that our patients receive safe, effective, and person-centred care. Working closely with the GP partners, practice manager, and wider multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to service improvement, clinical governance, workforce development, and the achievement of practice and primary care network objectives.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced registered nurse, who is passionate about delivering excellent patient care and leading high-performing teams. The ideal candidate will be a confident clinical practitioner with a strong background in primary care nursing and the ability to balance clinical responsibilities with leadership and service development.
You will be an approachable and supportive leader who is committed to fostering a positive team culture, encouraging professional development, and maintaining high clinical standards. With excellent communication and organisational skills, you will be able to build effective working relationships with colleagues, patients, and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will demonstrate sound clinical judgement, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to continuous improvement. You will be comfortable managing competing priorities, driving change where required, and contributing to the strategic development of nursing services within the practice.
Above all, you will share our commitment to providing safe, compassionate, and patient-centred care, while inspiring and supporting others to achieve the same.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated nurse leader who is ready to take the next step in their career, influence the future direction of nursing services, and make a meaningful impact on the health and wellbeing of our patient population.
At Burlington Primary Care, we are committed to providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare to our diverse patient population. Our experienced multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred care, while continually striving to improve services and outcomes for our community.
We are a progressive and forward-thinking practice that values innovation, teamwork, and professional development. We recognise that our people are our greatest asset and are committed to creating a supportive, inclusive, and positive working environment where staff are encouraged to develop their skills, share ideas, and reach their full potential.
We work closely with a range of healthcare professionals and partner organisations to provide integrated services that meet the evolving needs of our patients. We embrace new ways of working and are committed to delivering modern, accessible healthcare while maintaining the personal touch that is at the heart of general practice.
Joining Burlington Primary Care means becoming part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team that takes pride in making a genuine difference to people's lives every day. Whether caring for patients, supporting colleagues, or contributing to service development, every member of our team plays an important role in helping us achieve our vision of outstanding primary care for all.
At Burlington Primary Care, we don't just care for our patients, we care for the people who deliver that care.
