Here at GXONorthampton we are recruiting for aWarehouse Operative to join our team. Working at our equipment management site, where it’s all about recycling & reuse, for one of the largest supermarket retailers in the UK.You’ll play a key role in a busy recycling centre, handling cardboard, plastic, and food waste, as well as supporting the efficient operation of the tray wash process.

You’ll be working on afull-time, permanent basis, on a4 on 4 off shift pattern, on night shift covering the hours of 18:00 - 06:00 .

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Load empty trays and buckets onto the wash machine ready for cleaning
• Unload clean trays from the wash machine, stack away and wrap ready for collection
• Ensure a hazard‑free zone by guaranteeing that all work areas are kept clean and tidy
• Other warehouse duties depending on operations needs

What you need to succeed at GXO

• MHE licence beneficial but not essential
• A can‑do attitude with a willingness to learn something new!
• Willing to work in an environment with lots of repetitive work
