Female Care Assistant required to support a young female who lives in the Willington/Crook area

We are looking for someone to provide support to a young woman who has impaired mobility following a brain injury some years ago. Due to her impaired mobility she uses a wheelchair.

Hours /Wage

10 hours per week £ 13.50 per hour

Schedule

• Monday to Friday one hour am and one hour pm
• Monday – Wednesday 7.30 am – 8.30 am and 6pm – 7pm
• Thursday and Friday 9.30 – 10.30 am and 5pm – 6pm

There is some flexibility around times, apart from am calls Monday – Wednesday as these times are required to provide support getting ready in time to go to college.

Duties

• Provide support to get out of bed, and get dressed in morning
• Provide breakfast
• Transfer into wheelchair
• Showering, getting ready for bed

Additional Requirements/Information

• Experience would be preferred but is not essential
• A full driving licence would be preferred – a mobility car (automatic) would be used to take client out
• Enhanced DBS will be required, employer will cover the cost
