ARP Teacher: Dual-School SEND Interventions Lead
Harlow
Longwood Primary Academy and Waltham Holy Cross Primary Academy have established ARP for children with ASD.
Salary: M4-UPS
Start date: ASAP/January 2027
Longwood Primary Academy and Waltham Holy Cross Primary Academy have established Alternative Resource Provision (ARP) for children with ASD. The children attend day to day learning in the ARP however they have opportunities to work in the mainstream classroom where appropriate.
This ARP teacher role is a unique opportunity for anyone who wants to develop their skills to oversee and deliver the day to day interventions within both provisions.
Part of this opportunity will include overseeing both ARPs, alongside tailored planning and support, working with a specialist SEND team from across NET Academies.
NET Academies offer a unique chance to be part of a friendly and supportive team. Being part of a primary cluster of nine schools, staff work in teams to share the responsibility for planning, with support from Trust subject leads and the Curriculum Director. High quality CPD is offered across the Trust.
Both schools have a dedicated team that works hard to reach high standards in everything they do and this is further embedded through our successful relationships with parents, the local community and the other local schools within NET. At NET Academies, we believe in the future development of our teachers to enable them to develop and progress their career.

‘Staff are proud to work at the school and feel that leaders are considerate of their workload and well-being.’
“Pupils proudly and happily attend this school. They know and live up to the school rules of 'be kind, work hard, and be safe’.”
“All staff have high expectations for pupils.”
