Academics , a leading education agency, are currently recruiting on behalf of a supportive secondary school in Crewe, Cheshire East, who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher to join their team on a full-time, fixed-term basis.

This role is to cover a long-term sickness absence, starting ASAP and running until Christmas, with the potential for the placement to be extended depending on circumstances.

Maths Teacher - Role Overview:

• Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
• Building positive and professional relationships with students
• Inspiring and motivating pupils to reach their full potential
• Maintaining high standards of behaviour and effective classroom management
• Assessing and monitoring student progress to support learning and achievement
• Contributing positively to the wider school community

Maths Teacher - Applicant Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Secondary Mathematics
• Recent experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4
• Strong subject knowledge and a confident approach to classroom management
• A positive, reliable and enthusiastic attitude towards teaching
• The ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
