Duties
Assist teachers in delivering classroom instruction tailored to individual student needs, including those with disabilities or autism
Support students during lessons, activities, and transitions to ensure a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
Provide one-on-one tutoring and mentoring to reinforce learning concepts and build student confidence
Implement creative writing exercises and other engaging activities to stimulate student creativity and communication skills
Monitor student behavior, provide encouragement, and promote social interaction among peers
Collaborate with educators and specialists to develop personalized learning plans for students requiring additional support
Maintain accurate records of student progress, behavior incidents, and activity participation
Skills
Experience working with children in educational or caregiving settings
Knowledge of special education strategies and experience supporting individuals with disabilities or autism
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, and families
Ability to adapt teaching methods creatively to meet diverse learning styles and needs
Proven tutoring or mentoring skills that foster motivation and academic success
Creative writing skills to develop engaging lesson content and activities
Compassionate attitude with a passion for helping students succeed academically and socially
