The role

Main responsibilities

• Carrying out spot checks on carers in clients' homes.
• Conducting regular supervisions with the care team.
• Supporting new carers during their induction period.
• Reviewing care plans and updating them with the Registered Manager.
• Handling quality concerns and complaints in the field.
• Supporting carers with complex visits where extra help is needed.

A day in the role

What a normal shift involves

A mix of field visits and office time. You might spend a morning observing a carer at a visit, the afternoon doing supervisions in the office, and part of the day updating records in Birdie.

Who we are looking for

Person specification

What we look for

• Significant experience in care, including domiciliary care.
• The confidence to observe, assess and give honest feedback.
• Patience and the ability to support as well as evaluate.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a car.

Experience: Substantial care experience, including some supervisory or shift-lead experience.

Qualifications: A Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care is valued. What matters most is demonstrated competence and supervisory capability.

• Mileage paid at £0.35 per mile for field travel.
