Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Liverpool and the surrounding areas. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning by supervising classes during teacher absences and ensuring students remain engaged with the work provided.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre-set lessons across a range of subject areas
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Ensure students remain on task and engaged with their learning
• Provide support and guidance to students where appropriate
• Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
• Report back to teaching staff regarding student progress and behaviour
• Build positive relationships with students and school staff

Requirements

• Previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils is desirable
• Experience in education, coaching, youth work, tutoring, mentoring, or similar roles is advantageous
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Confidence in leading a classroom independently
• Ability to adapt to different school environments and subject areas
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• Right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
