Duties
Supporting the Accounts Manager by maintaining sales and purchase ledgers
Posting and allocating cash transactions accurately
Reconciling control accounts to ensure financial integrity
Assisting with month-end processes and reporting
Contributing to the preparation of accounts up to trial balance
Collaborating with operational teams to ensure compliance and accuracy of financial data
Requirements
Proven experience in accounts or finance, ideally within the retail motor industry
Solid knowledge of general accountancy procedures and control account reconciliation
Proficiency in Excel and IT skills; experience with Sage Accounting software is essential
Keyloop Dealer Management System expertise is required
Knowledge of Kerridge/CDK systems is highly desirable
Working towards or qualified in AAT, ACA, CIMA, or ACCA
Strong attention to detail, honesty, and integrity, with a passion for delivering high-quality work
