Job Overview

We are now looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Dayshift & Nightshift Care Workers for our Care Home, located in East Kilbride. With us you are more than a care worker. Key Tasks

Providing personal care and support to residents
Assisting with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Supporting residents with meals and hydration
Offering companionship and emotional support
Promoting residents’ independence, dignity, and wellbeing
Assisting residents with daily activities and social engagement
Working closely with senior carers and healthcare professionals
Maintaining accurate care records and reporting concerns appropriately
To look after the emotional, cultural and social needs of the Clients using a person-centered approach
To offer care that is based on dignity, compassion wellbeing and responsiveness to their changing needs
To physically assist clients and help them where required
To create and maintain good professional relationships with Clients, their family and friends and other stakeholders

Experience preferred but not essential
