An excellent and rare opportunity has become available for a workshop HGV Technician on Nights working a 4-DAY WEEK in the Purfleet, Essex area paying an impressive £30 per hour with overtime paid at x1.5 (Time & Half).

You will be an experienced Technician with previous experience working on HGV, Heavy Vehicle, Commercial Vehicles and will hold suitable qualifications such as IMI Level 3, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds etc.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• * Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and trailers
• * Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
• * Complete inspections and preventative maintenance
• * Ensure vehicles are maintained to a high standard and comply within safety requirements
• * Carry out repairs efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime
• * Complete maintenance records and paperwork accurately

We are looking for a number of Technicians who are prepared to work either Monday - Thursday night shift (7:30pm - 6:00pm) or Tuesday - Friday night shift (7:30pm - 6:00pm) or rotating the 2 shifts on a weekly basis.

10.5 hour standard shifts with 30 mins unpaid break (10 hours paid).

All overtime is paid at Time & Half (x1.5) with excellent pension and company benefits available.
