A primary school in Longridge is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis from November 2026 .

This role would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant who enjoys working with children in Years 3-6 and is confident supporting learning across a range of curriculum areas.

Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging and effective lessons.
Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
Providing targeted support in core subjects, including Maths, English and Science.
Encouraging pupils to develop confidence, independence and a positive attitude towards learning.
Assisting with classroom organisation, resources and daily routines.
Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Has previous experience supporting children within a classroom setting.
Demonstrates a good understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Is proactive, reliable and adaptable.
Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).

Full-time hours with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule.
Competitive pay at £14.25 per hour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
