We’re looking for a reliable, practical and customer-focused Caretaker to help keep estates, communal spaces and neighbourhoods clean, safe and welcoming.

This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety. From grounds maintenance and cleaning to recycling, estate inspections and supporting residents , you’ll play an important part in making sure neighbourhoods are places people are proud to call home.

You’ll spend your days out and about, working independently and as part of a team. You’ll spot issues before they become problems, take pride in getting things done and provide a friendly, helpful service to residents, visitors and colleagues.

If you’re someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being active and likes making a visible difference , this could be the role for you.

Support residents – act as a friendly point of contact, respond to queries and provide excellent customer service.
Keep things safe – carry out estate inspections, identify issues and report or resolve problems where appropriate.
Support recycling – manage bins, skips and waste, unblock chutes where required and encourage residents to recycle.
Help prepare homes for letting – support void clearance, cleaning, gardening, minor repairs, painting and removal of unwanted items.
Support energy efficiency – assist with home visits and heating system settings where required.
Look after equipment – carry out routine vehicle and equipment checks and use tools and machinery safely.
Keep accurate records – record work completed using manual or digital systems and report any tasks that cannot be completed.
Be part of the team – work closely with colleagues, contractors and residents to continually improve local neighbourhoods.
