High Level Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education are currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming primary school in Romford .

The successful candidate will be confident working across different year groups , supporting pupils and delivering engaging lessons in the absence of the class teacher.

The Role:

• Work across different year groups within a primary setting
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and cover classes when required
• Support pupils with their learning and development
• Manage classroom behaviour confidently and positively
• Work closely with teachers and school staff
• Provide additional support to pupils where needed
• Help create a positive and engaging learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

• HLTA qualification or relevant experience
• Previous experience working within a primary school
• Confident supporting and teaching different year groups
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic
• Available to work full-time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
