Part Time Sales Assistant

Company Description

Sports Direct is the UK's No.1 sports retailer, with an unbeatable range of sportswear, footwear, and equipment at prices that keep customers coming back. With 600+ stores and still growing, we're part of the Frasers Group: a bold, ambitious business known for shaking up the industry and creating real opportunities at every level. If you've got energy, drive, and a love for retail done at pace, you'll fit right in.

The Role: Stockroom Assistant

This is the job that keeps the store moving. As a Stockroom Assistant at Sports Direct, you're the engine behind every sale, making sure deliveries land cleanly, stock is where it needs to be, and the shop floor never runs short. It's hands-on, fast, and genuinely satisfying work for people who like to see results.

What's In It For You

• Competitive hourly rate that rewards what you put in
• Flexible working to fit around your life
• Staff discount across the full Frasers Group family of brands
• Career progression in a fast-growing retail business that promotes from within
• A fun, fast-paced atmosphere with a team that wants to see you succeed

Your Development

From day one, you'll receive a full in-store induction. As you progress, you'll have access to internal development pathways, including Supervisor and Management programmes and nationally recognised qualifications all of which support your growth within Sports Direct and the wider Frasers Group.

What You'll Do

• Receive, unpack, and process deliveries accurately and efficiently.
• Organise stockroom areas to company standards so nothing slows the team down.
• Replenish the shop floor quickly so customers find what they came for.
• Support stock counts, price changes, and inventory accuracy.
• Keep back-of-house areas safe, clean, and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Work with the wider team to hit stock and sales targets together.
• Pitch in across the store when trade peaks and all hands are needed.

How We Work

• Think Without Limits: Move fast, take bold action, and bring the team with you.
• Own It and Back Yourself: Take responsibility, master the basics, and drive results.
• Be Relevant: Stay connected to our people, our partners, and the planet.

Interest in these roles is high, so we may close the vacancy early.

What You'll Bring

• Sharp attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a real work ethic.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
• The flex to work solo or as part of the team, whichever the job calls for.
• Availability that flexes around peak trade, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Stockroom or retail experience is a bonus, but not essential. We'll back you to learn
