Production Operative - Runcorn, Cheshire

People Solutions are currently recruiting forProduction Operatives to join our well-established client based inRuncorn, Cheshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering£12.71 - £13.21 per hour, increasing to£13.58 per hour after 12 weeks, Monday to Friday working, no weekend work, ongoing assignments, and genuine opportunities to secure a permanent position.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Production Operative, Assembly Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Machine Operative, Warehouse Operative, Factory Operative, General Operative, or Production Assistant.

Shifts

• Monday to Friday - Rotating shifts:06:45 - 14:45 | 14:45 - 22:45 | 22:45 - 06:45
• Must be able to work all three rotating shifts

Rates of Pay

• £12.71 - £13.21 per hour
• Increasing to£13.58 per hour after 12 weeks
• Weekly pay

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Production Operative, your duties will include:

• Loading raw materials into production machinery
• Carrying out quality inspections on moulded products
• Packing finished products into boxes
• Labelling boxes and ensuring correct colour coding
• Shrink-wrapping products and stacking pallets ready for dispatch
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Essential Skills

As a Production Operative, you will need:

• Availability to work the rotating shift pattern
• A good eye for detail and a responsible approach to work
• A willingness to learn and develop within the role
• A communicative level of English
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team

Desirable Experience

Previous experience within a production, manufacturing, warehouse, or factory environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
