Care Assistant

Regional Care Worker - travel of up to 50 miles required.

Location : North Wales (Bangor and surrounding areas)

Pay : £15 per hour

Shifts : Covering day and night shifts across the week, including weekends.

Driver required : Yes - a full UK licence and access to your own vehicle is required.

Job Description

What you’ll do

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as an Assigned Care Assistant. You will have full training and clinical support to develop and enhance skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care plus so much more! We care for and support people of all ages, in the community, and in their homes, with Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries and many other complex needs.

You’ll need to be willing to travel to various packages within a 50-mile radius and work on an on-call rota. Every day will be different. And you’ll never know what challenges you’re about to face next. One thing you can be sure of though, is that you’ll be making your clients’ days brighter, whilst developing your skills and knowledge.

• Must work a mixture of both days and nights
• Must have flexible availability
• Must be willing to drive 50miles to cover multiple packages of care - Access to a car is required.
• Willingness to support with mobilising new packages of care within 50mile radius
• Will work a mixture of both days and nights
