Cover Supervisors Wanted

Make Every Day Different with Tradewind Education

Looking for a role where no two days are the same? Want to gain valuable classroom experience, inspire young people, and enjoy the flexibility of choosing when you work?

Tradewind Education is recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to join our team and work across a range of welcoming secondary schools in Rotherham and the surrounding areas for the 2026/27 academic year. Whether you're looking for day-to-day supply work, short-term placements, or long-term assignments, we have opportunities to suit your availability and career goals.

What Does a Cover Supervisor Do?

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll step into the classroom to deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular teacher. You'll ensure students stay engaged, focused, and on task while maintaining a positive learning environment.

No teaching qualification? No problem! If you have experience working with young people and strong classroom management skills, we'd love to hear from you!

We're Looking For People Who:

• Have experience working with children or young people (school-based experience is desirable but not essential)
• Are confident communicating with secondary-age students
• Can manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Are adaptable, organised, and reliable
• Have a positive attitude and a willingness to get involved
• Hold, or are willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

What's in It for You?

• Flexible work that fits around your lifestyle
• Opportunities in a variety of excellent secondary schools
• Competitive daily rates of pay
• Long-term and permanent opportunities available
• Free access to professional development and training
• Support from your dedicated Tradewind consultant every step of the way
• A fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, youth workers, sports coaches, or anyone looking to build a career in education

Why Join Tradewind Education?

At Tradewind, we pride ourselves on matching great people with great schools. Our experienced team is committed to supporting you throughout your education journey, helping you find roles that suit your skills, experience, and ambitions.

Ready to Take the Next Step?

If you're enthusiastic, dependable, and ready for a rewarding role in education this academic year, we'd love to hear from you!
