Casual Sales Assistant

About Evans Cycles

We've come a long way since opening our first shop on Kennington Road, London in 1921. Back then, we built our own bikes and quickly earned a reputation for award-winning service. Over 100 years later, that same knowledge, passion, and value are at the heart of everything we do.

Today, we’re more than just a local bike shop - with stores nationwide and a thriving online business, we’re here to support every rider, from first-timers to seasoned cyclists, wherever their journey takes them.

What You'll Be Doing

• Welcoming and engaging customers, offering friendly and professional advice.
• Developing strong product knowledge across bikes, accessories, and clothing.
• Supporting sales through upselling and cross-selling to meet customer needs.
• Assisting with stock management and keeping the shop floor organised.
• Handling payments accurately and efficiently at the till.
• Maintaining high standards of merchandising and store presentation.
• Promoting safe cycling practices and helping customers choose the right safety gear.

This is a casual role with no guaranteed hours - shifts may vary week to week.

We'll provide training to set you up for success.

As part of Frasers Group, you’ll also enjoy great career opportunities across our retail network.

About You

• Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
• Enthusiastic about cycling (no need to be an expert - we’ll train you!).
• A team player who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Reliable, flexible, and eager to learn.
