Help a Wonderful Young Girl Thrive Every Day
Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a genuine and lasting difference to a child's life?
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated and enthusiastic Female Support Worker to join the client’s established care team and become a valued part of our supportive family environment. This is a unique opportunity to work one-to-one with a happy, sociable and fun-loving 7-year-old girl who loves being outdoors, singing, playing, learning new things and engaging with the world around her.
The role combines meaningful relationship-based support with complex clinical care, including tracheostomy management, PEG feeding, communication support and therapy programmes. Full specialist training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced support worker who wants to further develop their skills in complex paediatric care.
As part of a dedicated team, you will support her to participate fully in family life, education, therapy activities and community experiences whilst helping her develop communication, independence, confidence and mobility skills.
This role offers excellent rates of pay, permanent contracted hours, specialist clinical training, ongoing professional development and the opportunity to build a meaningful long-term relationship with a child and family who genuinely value the support they receive.
You will provide high-quality, child-centred support and play an important role in helping the client achieve her goals, enjoy everyday experiences and participate fully in family, school and community life.
We value kindness, professionalism, respect, teamwork and consistency and are looking for someone who wants to become a trusted and valued member of the client’s team for the long term.
Monday to Thursday: 3:00pm to 9:00pm
Friday: 1:00pm to 9:00pm
12-hour shifts on a rota basis
Additional hours may be available. Shift times may occasionally vary to meet family requirements, and reasonable notice will always be provided.
This post is open to female applicants only.
This requirement is applied in accordance with the Equality Act 2010 due to the intimate personal care involved and the role being provided within a family home environment. Therefore, the employer considers female sex to be a genuine occupational requirement for this position.
