We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team in Preston (PR3), Lancashire.

Key Responsibilities

As a SEND Teaching Assistant based in Preston, your daily duties will include:

• Supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and associated complex needs in their learning and development.
• Assisting teaching staff in delivering tailored educational programmes and activities.
• Promoting positive behaviour and creating a safe, inclusive environment for all students.

Requirements & Qualifications

To be successful as a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will need:

• No specific qualifications are required, but a passion for helping children reach their full potential is essential.
• Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs is desirable.
• Mandatory compliance with DBS checks and reference verification in line with government regulations and safer recruitment practices.
