Prospero Teaching are seeking a flexible Secondary Tutor to provide 1:1 educational support to a learner in Wirral.

The role would suit an adaptable educator who can confidently support a secondary-aged learner across core subjects while creating engaging sessions tailored to their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalised 1:1 tuition
• Support learning across relevant secondary subjects
• Plan engaging and appropriately challenging sessions
• Adapt delivery according to learner progress
• Encourage positive attitudes towards education
• Build a strong professional relationship with the learner
• Provide feedback on progress and engagement

Requirements

• Previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils
• Teaching or tutoring experience
• Good knowledge of the secondary curriculum
• Ability to adapt lessons to different abilities and needs
• Excellent communication and organisation
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• Right to Work in the UK
• Two professional child-related references
