What You Will Do

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise secondary school classes when the regular teacher is unavailable, ensuring students remain focused and learning continues.

Supervising secondary school classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials and clearly communicating instructions.
Managing classroom behaviour calmly, fairly and consistently.
Maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
Monitoring student engagement and ensuring work is completed.
Supporting students with their learning where appropriate.
Adapting to different subjects, year groups and school environments.
Communicating effectively with teaching staff and school leaders.
Following safeguarding and school policies.
