Primary Teaching Assistant

Yorkshire and Humber/ temporary / £80 - 100 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a range of mainstream primary schools across Wakefield and Bradford who require enthusiastic and reliable Primary LSAs. Our partner schools provide welcoming environments where staff work together to ensure pupils receive the support they need to develop academically and socially.

We are looking for a Primary LSA to work on a flexible day-to-day basis, with opportunities for long-term and permanent positions within our schools. The successful Primary LSA will support pupils across the primary age range, assisting the class teacher with learning activities and providing individual or small-group support where required.

The successful Primary LSA will have:

• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
• Experience working with children within a primary school or similar setting
• Experience supporting pupils individually and in small groups
• Strong communication skills
• A positive 'can-do' attitude
• Flexibility and adaptability

Safeguarding and DBS Compliance

Registration may involve an enhanced DBS check, ID checks and the supply of good professional references, depending on the role. We are committed to safeguarding and compliance across all placements.
