On the Digital & Technology Solutions Apprenticeship Cyber pathway, you’ll join our growing Cyber Security function, which plays a critical role in protecting Unilever from evolving cyber threats. Over the 3 year programme, you’ll rotate through multiple placements across our Cyber teams, including areas such as Business Engagement, Governance & Risk, Human Risk & Culture, Architecture, Threat Intelligence and more. This structure gives you hands‑on exposure to different specialisms and helps you build a wellrounded understanding of how Cyber Security operates across Unilever.
Alongside your work, you’ll complete a degree through a blended learning approach with Exeter University, combining oncampus teaching blocks with online study so you can immerse yourself fully in academic learning while benefiting from the university experience.
We are looking for individuals with a strong interest in protecting a complex FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) business from cyber security threats.

You don’t need to be a coding expert or have prior experience in Cyber Security. We are looking for potential. We’re interested in individuals who are naturally curious and enjoy understanding how things work, who are comfortable analysing information and thinking logically, and who communicate clearly and collaborate well with others. You should have strong organisational skills to balance professional responsibilities with university study, resilient in the face of feedback and new challenges, and interested in how Cyber drives real business outcomes. Most importantly, we’re looking for people who are motivated to grow. This programme is designed to build independence and responsibility over time, and your willingness to learn and step outside your comfort zone will shape how much you gain from this programme. If you’re excited by the idea of working in Cyber to manage risk at a global scale, whether you know a niche area or interest or even if you’re still discovering where you want to specialise, this could be the right path for you.
No two days are the same, and that’s part of what makes Cyber Security exciting.
A typical day might include:
