Location: Mirfield

Contract: Temporary - 1 week

Start Date: Monday

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm

Rate of Pay: £16.50 per hour

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Shunter Driver to join our team in Mirfield on a temporary basis for one week.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely shunt and manoeuvre vehicles and trailers around the site.
• Position vehicles correctly for loading, unloading and dispatch.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects or issues.
• Follow all site health and safety procedures.
• Maintain a professional and reliable approach throughout the assignment.
• Assist with general yard duties as required.

Essential Requirements

• Valid C1 driving licence - must be in date.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification/card.
• Previous shunting or yard driving experience.
• Good understanding of vehicle and site safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
• Available to work the full one-week assignment.

• 6:00am - 2:00pm
• 1-week temporary assignment
• £16.50 per hour
• Based in Mirfield
